BrenX Ltd., formerly known as Brenmiller Energy Ltd., is an Israeli energy technology and infrastructure company focused on supplying industrial customers with heat and electricity solutions. The company was founded in 2012 and built its business around thermal energy storage (TES), using proprietary technology to capture and store energy as heat for later use. Its strategy has expanded beyond selling storage systems toward developing, owning, operating and optimizing integrated energy infrastructure for industrial and utility customers.

At the center of BrenX's technology portfolio is its bGen™ thermal energy storage system, which stores energy as heat and can subsequently deliver that heat for industrial processes or convert stored thermal energy into electricity. The technology is intended to help industrial facilities manage intermittent renewable generation, reduce dependence on fossil-fuel-based heat and improve the flexibility of their energy systems. BrenX's broader platform combines thermal storage with electricity, heat, flexible energy assets and digital optimization rather than treating energy storage as a standalone product.

The company's potential customer base includes energy-intensive industries and other facilities requiring reliable supplies of heat and power, with data centers and industrial production facilities among the applications identified by BrenX. Its projects are designed around the specific energy requirements of individual sites, allowing thermal storage, electricity supply and energy management to operate as part of a single system. BrenX has also been developing projects that move the company further into infrastructure ownership, including renewable-energy assets and larger integrated energy projects, broadening the business from a technology supplier into a potential long-term energy infrastructure operator.

The BrenX name reflects this broader direction. The company changed its name from Brenmiller Energy in August 2026 as it repositioned itself around integrated industrial energy infrastructure rather than thermal storage alone. Its operations remain centered on thermal energy storage, but the expanded model encompasses power generation, industrial heat, storage, energy optimization and infrastructure development. BrenX is headquartered in Rosh HaAyin, Israel, and its ordinary shares trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker BRNX.
