Evolus, Inc. is a medical aesthetics company founded in 2012 and headquartered in Newport Beach, California. The company focuses on developing and commercializing injectable treatments and consumer-facing brands in the nonsurgical aesthetics market, where patients typically pay directly for cosmetic procedures rather than relying on health insurance. Evolus became publicly traded on the Nasdaq in 2018 under the ticker EOLS, building its business around a brand-driven approach that combines aesthetic products, practitioner support and digital marketing. Its goal is to provide alternatives in a market historically dominated by established pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies.

The company's flagship product is Jeuveau, a prescription botulinum toxin type A injection designed to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows in adults. It competes in the same broad aesthetic neurotoxin market as Botox Cosmetic and other wrinkle-relaxing injectables. Outside the United States, Jeuveau is marketed under the name Nuceiva. Evolus supports its commercial reach through relationships with medical spas, dermatology practices, plastic surgeons and other licensed aesthetic providers, combining product distribution with promotional programs intended to build awareness and encourage repeat treatments.

Evolus has expanded beyond neurotoxins into dermal fillers, introducing Evolysse in the United States in 2025. Developed using Cold-X technology from French medical aesthetics company Symatese, the injectable hyaluronic acid gel collection includes products designed to soften facial wrinkles and folds, including nasolabial folds. The company is also expanding internationally, using the name Estyme for its filler portfolio outside the United States. Additional product development and licensing arrangements are intended to broaden its range of injectable treatments, including opportunities in skin quality and other aesthetic applications.

Evolus has built a commercial platform designed around the needs of aesthetic practitioners and their patients. Its digital tools, practice-support programs and Evolus Rewards loyalty program help participating clinics engage consumers and encourage continued use of aesthetic treatments. Because the business operates in the cash-pay market, its performance depends in part on consumer confidence, discretionary spending, practitioner adoption and competition from other injectable brands. By combining its neurotoxin franchise with dermal fillers, international licensing and further product development, Evolus is working to establish a broader presence in medical aesthetics rather than depending on a single treatment category.
