Ferrovial SE is a multinational infrastructure and mobility company headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Founded in 1952 by Rafael del Pino, it has evolved into a global leader in the development, construction, and operation of large-scale infrastructure projects. The company operates across more than 15 countries, employing over 25,000 people, and is organized into four main business lines: Toll Roads, Airports, Construction, and Energy and Mobility. Ferrovial is listed on the Euronext Amsterdam, the Spanish Stock Exchanges, and the Nasdaq in the United States, and is a constituent of Spain’s IBEX 35 index.

Ferrovial's Toll Roads division, managed through its subsidiary Cintra, oversees significant highway concessions, including the 407 ETR in Canada and express lanes in Texas and North Carolina. The Airports division has been involved in managing major airports such as Heathrow, Glasgow, and Aberdeen in the UK. The Construction division has delivered landmark projects like the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and Terminal 4 at Madrid-Barajas Airport. The Energy and Mobility division focuses on developing innovative solutions in renewable energy and sustainable transportation.

Ferrovial has intensified its focus on the North American market, which now accounts for a significant portion of its operations. The company is actively involved in constructing the new Terminal 1 at New York's JFK Airport, slated for completion in 2026. Additionally, Ferrovial has increased its stake in the 407 ETR in Canada to 48%, reinforcing its commitment to the region.

To support its international expansion, Ferrovial relocated its corporate headquarters to the Netherlands and listed its shares on the Nasdaq in May 2024. This strategic move aims to enhance the company's visibility and access to capital in the U.S. market. Despite initial fluctuations in share price, Ferrovial remains confident in its growth prospects, particularly in the U.S., where it plans to increase its investment focus to 80% by 2027.
