Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. is a publicly traded live entertainment company that owns and operates a collection of some of the most recognizable entertainment venues in the United States. Its portfolio includes Madison Square Garden, the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, the Beacon Theatre and The Chicago Theatre. The company also owns and produces the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes, while operating a large event-booking business covering concerts, family entertainment, special events and sporting events. MSG Entertainment became an independent publicly traded company in April 2023 following its separation from Sphere Entertainment Co. and trades on the New York Stock Exchange under MSGE.

The company's core business is essentially bringing live entertainment to audiences and providing the venues and infrastructure required to stage it. Its venues host major concerts, comedy performances, family shows, sporting events, award shows and other special events, with Madison Square Garden serving as its flagship property. MSG Entertainment also operates the booking and promotional side of its business, allowing it to curate a broad range of events across its venues. This creates multiple ways to monetize each location through ticketing, premium hospitality, food and beverage, sponsorships, advertising and other event-related services while maintaining a portfolio that serves both mass-market and premium entertainment audiences.

Madison Square Garden is one of the world's most famous arenas and has become closely associated with major concerts and sporting events, while Radio City Music Hall and the Rockettes carry similarly powerful cultural identities. The Beacon Theatre adds a more intimate, historic concert venue to the portfolio, while The Chicago Theatre gives MSG Entertainment a presence outside its heavily concentrated New York market. Together, these properties allow the company to appeal to different types of performers and audiences, ranging from large-scale arena productions to smaller, more specialized events. The company also continues to develop its venues through partnerships and branding initiatives, such as the 2026 expansion of its relationship with Infosys and the renaming of The Theater at Madison Square Garden as the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden.

MSG Entertainment's growth is centered on expanding the value and capabilities of its entertainment properties rather than simply adding more venues. The company can continue increasing the number and variety of events it hosts, developing premium experiences, expanding sponsorship and technology partnerships, and finding new ways to connect its venues with digital audiences. Its flagship properties also provide a platform for creating original entertainment, with the Rockettes' Christmas Spectacular demonstrating how MSG can develop a proprietary production that becomes an enduring brand in its own right; the production has now been running for more than 90 years.
