The Brand House Collective, Inc., formerly known as Kirkland’s, has transformed from a single-brand home décor retailer into a multi-brand operator with a broader vision for home and family products. Originally founded in Tennessee in 1966, the company rebranded in 2025 to reflect its ownership and management of several well-known names, including Kirkland’s Home, Bed Bath & Beyond Home, Overstock, and buybuy Baby. The move was designed to revive these iconic brands while modernizing the company’s identity and expanding its reach across multiple retail segments.

The company’s strategy includes closing weaker stores and converting its footprint into roughly 290 locations that will host its new multi-brand model. The first Bed Bath & Beyond Home store is set to open in Brentwood, Tennessee, with additional conversions and rollouts planned through 2026. Alongside these openings, The Brand House Collective is exploring physical formats for Overstock and buybuy Baby, signaling its intent to reintroduce these familiar names to customers in both physical and digital spaces.

To support this transformation, the company has streamlined its leadership structure, with Amy Sullivan serving as CEO and Chief Merchant & Creative Officer, supported by newly appointed executives overseeing operations, supply chain, and brand management. At the governance level, changes were introduced to allow for annual elections of directors, improving accountability and transparency. Together, these shifts position The Brand House Collective as a stronger, multi-faceted operator in the competitive retail landscape, with a strategy focused on brand revitalization and operational efficiency.
