Teads Holding Co., formerly known as Outbrain Inc., emerged from a major rebranding following its $1 billion acquisition of Teads in early 2025. Outbrain, originally founded in 2006, was widely recognized for pioneering content recommendation tools that powered native advertising for digital publishers. However, after acquiring Teads—a global leader in digital video and connected TV advertising—the company strategically transformed to offer a more expansive, full-funnel advertising platform. This merger brought together Outbrain's AI-driven content discovery engine and Teads' premium video and omnichannel advertising capabilities, creating one of the most comprehensive adtech firms in the industry.

The newly formed Teads Holding Co. rebranded in June 2025, also changing its Nasdaq ticker symbol to TEAD. Headquartered globally, the company now operates in over 50 markets, reaches approximately 2.2 billion users monthly, and works directly with more than 10,000 publishers and 20,000 advertisers. Leadership of the unified company includes David Kostman, former CEO of Outbrain, who continues in the same role, alongside Teads’ co-founders Jeremy Arditi and Bertrand Quesada, who now serve as co-presidents. The merger aimed to streamline operations and deliver significant cost synergies, with an estimated $65–75 million in annual savings by 2026.

Teads Holding Co. now positions itself as an “Omnichannel Outcomes Platform,” delivering advertising solutions that span brand awareness to performance marketing across mobile, desktop, and connected TV. It leverages advanced artificial intelligence capable of making over a billion predictions per second and focuses heavily on high-quality, user-friendly ad formats. With a renewed focus on creative excellence, premium inventory, and AI-powered optimization, Teads is reshaping how advertisers and publishers collaborate across the open internet. The company’s rebranding reflects not only a new name but a broader vision to lead in an evolving digital advertising landscape.
