zkPass is a crypto project focused on turning private internet data into verifiable on-chain proofs without exposing the raw underlying information. Its core product is built around zkTLS, which combines three-party TLS and hybrid zero-knowledge cryptography so users and applications can prove facts pulled from ordinary HTTPS websites without relying on APIs, OAuth logins, or trusted intermediaries.

The project’s value comes from making private Web2 data usable in Web3 in a privacy-preserving way. zkPass says its system can verify information from sources such as financial platforms, identity records, education activity, social reputation, and other online data while keeping the original personal data hidden. That makes it more of an infrastructure layer for trust and verification than a consumer-facing payment coin.

Its token is ZKP, which the project describes as the native utility token of the zkPass protocol. According to the project documentation, ZKP is used for proof settlement, verifier staking, incentives for users and developers, and governance over protocol standards and treasury flows.

Overall, zkPass is best understood as a privacy-focused verification network that tries to bridge Web2 data and on-chain applications through cryptographic proof systems. Instead of centering its identity on trading culture, it is positioned as a foundational protocol for proving real-world or internet-derived facts on-chain, with ZKP serving as the coordination token behind that broader verification ecosystem.
